As an intermediate to senior level position within the account service group this person’s role is to demonstrate leadership, managerial skills and provide exceptional executional support on any and all aspects of their respective assignments. In addition, the expectation is that this person will be making a significant and on-going contribution to the overall “product” of the organization both through innovative thinking and problem solving. As the principal day-to-day client representative of the agency, this person will manage clients businesses and their projects from start to finish delivering strategic campaigns and programs that are on time, and on budget. And as the key point of contact on your business, you will liaise with all teams – creative, media, interactive and act as lead on all integrated programs. Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the internal administration of the account including:
- Assists and supports account management staff
- Maintains a current knowledge of the client’s business in order to direct and contribute to their marketing and advertising efforts. Uses this knowledge to anticipate needs.
- Supervises the development of the advertising activities in keeping with client’s objectives and budgets.
- Preparing and executing new business pitches when required – working closely with senior agency members when required
Required Skills
- This person needs to be unbelievably good at developing value driven client relationships.
- Solid computer skills which must include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- 3-5 years experience in account management in an advertising environment
