Job Description:
My client is looking for a talented, experienced and ambitious Ad Operations Professional who has background in ad campaign management. This is a hands-on, fast-paced and data-intensive position. It involves real-time reporting and optimization techniques that leverage multiple data points across many platforms.
Reporting to the GM, SVP Sales, the Director of Ad Operations is responsible for overseeing day-to-day post-sale campaign activity for clients by managing the workflow of the ad ops team. You will be detail oriented and a strategic thinker, helping to ensure sold campaigns deliver in full to client satisfaction. You will work with clients at world-class media agencies and alongside our internal Account Managers to ensure deep understanding of campaign performance metrics, and educating them on campaign results to share with clients.

Skills & Qualifications:
-5-8 years in online advertising industry with 4+ years of campaign management.
-Education: University degree or relevant college diploma.
-Extremely analytical with strong math skills and attention to detail.
-Experience with ad trafficking (display, video, mobile), de-bugging, data collection, ad optimizations, third party ad tags, conversion tracking pixels, floodlighting, piggybacking and reporting.
-Great communication skills including verbal and written, ability to prepare clear and concise emails client-ready documents.
-Knowledge of programmatic, the DSP/SSP ecosystem and how Deal IDs work.
-Experience with major ad servers such as Appnexus, Doubleclick, Eyereturn, Sizmek and Ad Tech.
-Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and especially Excel.
-Familiarity with comScore, Google Analytics and other leading analytics platforms.
-Proven ability to work within a fast paced, deadline driven environment
-Ability to travel as required (minimal)
Primary Responsibilities:
-Manage start to finish campaign process, tracking pixels, troubleshooting tags, targeting, optimization, and reporting.
-Identify trends in data and decipher underlying causes. Proactively make changes based on data to increase performance and margins.
-Stay abreast of trends in online advertising, product development, and yield optimization best practices.
-Assist with new hires/training while supervising existing operations team.
-Assist sales team with pre sale discussions, setting pricing and checking available impressions.
-Oversee all Insertion Orders and recommend adjustments/corrections as needed.
-Provide internal product recommendations, issue feedback and troubleshooting support.
-Manage day to day relationships with ad ops counterparts at publishing partners.
-Supervise insertion order process to ensure adherence to posted terms and conditions.
-Responsive in a timely manner to shifts in strategy and campaign budget allocations.
-Responsible for mid-campaign & post-campaign reports within your team and all revenue generated from your clients and agencies.
