Their primary focus is on engaging consumers through digital, direct, and CRM communications to drive long term loyalty and profitability.

Working in partnership with the Account Director, the Senior Project Manager will use his/her knowledge of PMI-based project management procedures to plan, execute and control technical projects and processes, both for clients and internally. The Senior Project Manager will have exceptional project management, client partnering and leadership skills and will be viewed as an expert leader within the company, with influence throughout the organization.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Manages internal resources to fulfill client marketing program obligations as defined by the SOW for projects under $5M annualized – including e-mail, direct mail, and digital platforms
  • Responsible for internal communication with the cross functional delivery team and Account team
  • Responsible for client-facing communication
  • Vendor management, as needed for projects
  • Executes on client strategy as defined by the Account Management Team and the Business Requirements
  • Grows long-term relationships with clients, deemed as trusted representation of organization
  • Responsible for the development of client SOWs, working with Account Management
  • Responsible for delivery of all client deliverables on time, to budget, and on function
  • Manages all internal cross functional resources for projects
  • Provides time estimates for their own, others and team tasks for multiple projects
  • Handles escalations of development issues from clients and to/with internal staff
  • Responsible for dotted line management of staff required to fulfill client program obligations
  • Owns and manages program deliverables, project plan, progress reports (% complete, % spend, issues), project cost estimates
  • Participates in ad hoc special projects as required, and other tasks as assigned
  • Works directly with client to on project-specific details day to day, updating status, maintaining open communication throughout each project, obtaining approvals, etc

 

Required Skills and Competencies

 

  • 5+ years experience in successfully delivering on technical and new media initiatives preferably in a digital, or CRM environment
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience ideally in the marketing and communications field
  • In-depth knowledge of project management processes and documentation
  • Agency or marketing experience is a must
  • Ability to develop and/or contribute to business analysis, business requirements gathering, information architecture and documentation
  • Experience with SharePoint as a management tool and the ability to create and modify various views and customization
  • Experience with Microsoft Project & Microsoft Project Server is desirable
  • Works independently to proactively get the job done
  • Is extremely detail-oriented and process-driven
  • Is an exceptional communicator; both written and verbally
  • Can understand the ‘big picture’ in regards to the program and identify trends
  • Understands the value of concise, up-to-date documentation
  • Is personable and can work with the team members one-on-one
  • Working knowledge of database architecture and software development procedures
  • Demonstrated experience providing direction to and gaining alignment among a diverse team in a fast-paced environment

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Strategy, this role will work closely with Account Management and Creative to set the direction and strategy for CRM, for one of our key automotive clients:

  • Use strategic planning expertise to interpret client objectives/requests and to focus and frame problem solving tactics, as well as, to inspire the creative process
  • Collaborate with the analytics discipline, to uncover fresh and innovative insights/business opportunities which drive the strategic and tactical planning process
  • Validate, correlate and connect insights in to multidimensional “stories” which identify significant opportunities and fuel inspirational strategies
  • Lead consumer insight, strategy, and communication channel plan development (inc. data/BTL/ATL/creative/tech/Digital) which deliver leading customer experiences and, ultimately business and marketing performance
  • Ability to travel frequently and meet with client stakeholders to create relationships, drive through deliverables, promote discussion and develop awareness

[FILLED] Senior Consumer Insights Associate – (Toronto)

The main purpose of this position is to uncover actionable insights, as well as develop strategies suitable to the clients’ business objectives and their customers. The Senior Associate will provide a range of custom and standard analytical services, leveraging customer knowledge, to drive preferred behaviour among Members in our clients’ loyalty programs with an emphasis on strategic insight from analysis to present findings, program enhancements and marketing recommendations to clients. This position reports to the Director, Consumer Insights & Strategy.

Provide subject matter expertise via thought leadership gained from analyzing the performance of existing loyalty marketing programs, and provides support to the sales organization and pre-sales initiatives.

Develop scope for ad-hoc analysis (i.e., consumer segments, customer lifecycle, liability forecast, redemption analysis, experimental design) and converts ad-hoc requests to standard offerings by documenting process steps to support future service offerings.

As our Senior Associate, you have:

  • Masters Degree or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, statistics or other analytical methodology.
  • Highly proficiency with SAS, SQL, SPSS, MS Access and Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience in statistics including regression, decision tree, cluster analysis and value scoring. (Knowledge of statistical modeling a plus)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a professional services environment.
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting quality work.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
