The Creative Director has 5+ years of interactive agency experience directing digital content. The position calls for amazingly effective communication, a positive attitude, and an inspiring strong work ethic. Candidates must be self-motivated, willing to be challenged by the Product Director and collaborate with Art, Design and Tech Directors.

The Creative Director is a client facing role and must have highly developed insight, intuition and the ability to rapidly shift concept, vision and execution communications to satisfy and shape client requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead creative teams, drawing together Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Content Strategists, Interaction Designers, and Developers to produce beautiful and intuitive interactive design experiences from concept to execution. Solutions must be both innovative yet usable and within budget ‐ while also satisfying client objectives.
  • Set and maintain the creative vision throughout the duration of a project.
  • Effectively absorb the existing FUEL methodology and drive concepts and strategies through the entire creative and development process ‐ internally and externally.
  • Act in a creative leadership role with clients, vendors, and internal resources with intelligence, humility, charisma, and solid work ethic.
  • Passionately seek a deep understanding of the client’s business, brand, and marketing objectives. Work closely as a proactive problem solver and partner with the account managers and producers.
  • Provide strong conceptual, creative direction and leadership for client presentations, new client acquisition, and new business pitches to sell ideas and work alike.
  • Maintain high standards for execution and attention to detail in all aspects of interactive design and development.
  • Work collaboratively with Producers to set timelines, resourcing plans, and deliverables is critical for success.
  • Create presentation decks quickly and effectively that strategically communicates and/or sells in creative concepts to existing and new clients.

Their primary focus is on engaging consumers through digital, direct, and CRM communications to drive long term loyalty and profitability.

Working in partnership with the Account Director, the Senior Project Manager will use his/her knowledge of PMI-based project management procedures to plan, execute and control technical projects and processes, both for clients and internally. The Senior Project Manager will have exceptional project management, client partnering and leadership skills and will be viewed as an expert leader within the company, with influence throughout the organization.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Manages internal resources to fulfill client marketing program obligations as defined by the SOW for projects under $5M annualized – including e-mail, direct mail, and digital platforms
  • Responsible for internal communication with the cross functional delivery team and Account team
  • Responsible for client-facing communication
  • Vendor management, as needed for projects
  • Executes on client strategy as defined by the Account Management Team and the Business Requirements
  • Grows long-term relationships with clients, deemed as trusted representation of organization
  • Responsible for the development of client SOWs, working with Account Management
  • Responsible for delivery of all client deliverables on time, to budget, and on function
  • Manages all internal cross functional resources for projects
  • Provides time estimates for their own, others and team tasks for multiple projects
  • Handles escalations of development issues from clients and to/with internal staff
  • Responsible for dotted line management of staff required to fulfill client program obligations
  • Owns and manages program deliverables, project plan, progress reports (% complete, % spend, issues), project cost estimates

Required Skills and Competencies

 

  • 5+ years experience in successfully delivering on technical and new media initiatives preferably in a digital, or CRM environment
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience ideally in the marketing and communications field
  • In-depth knowledge of project management processes and documentation
  • Agency or marketing experience is a must
  • Ability to develop and/or contribute to business analysis, business requirements gathering, information architecture and documentation
  • Experience with SharePoint as a management tool and the ability to create and modify various views and customization
  • Experience with Microsoft Project & Microsoft Project Server is desirable
  • Works independently to proactively get the job done
  • Is extremely detail-oriented and process-driven
  • Is an exceptional communicator; both written and verbally
  • Can understand the ‘big picture’ in regards to the program and identify trends
  • Understands the value of concise, up-to-date documentation
