[FILLED] Technical Applications Specialist – (Toronto/GTA)

Responsibilities:

Provides technical support to customers and Sales in a given discipline(s). This support includes system troubleshooting, software upgrades, system installation, customer training and proactive follow up as well as participation in conventions and trade shows in order to assist in the sales cycle by performing demonstrations and coordinating system evaluations. (70%)

Provides post sales support on a proactive basis to customers in a given discipline(s). This support includes in-service, additional customer training, correlation studies and the dissemination of information pertaining to changes in protocols, reagents/controls values or ranges. Investigates, analyzes, and resolves customer satisfaction issues and complaints assigned to them in an accurate and timely fashion as required. (20%)

Provides additional support by developing and leading customer lunch and learn training (5%)

Qualifications:

1. Education: MLT or B.Sc. in a related discipline is required.
2. Years Related Work Experience: 3-5 years of recent diagnostics or clinical laboratory experience or preferably within the current industry.
3. Travel is a large component of this position – requiring 80% travel.

Required Skills in Priority:

1. Technical skills in medical diagnostic laboratory or clinical laboratory environment.
2. Good working knowledge of computer applications eg. Microsoft Office.
3. The incumbent must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
4. The incumbent should have a strong background in a customer-focused environment and should possess strong analytical skills to deal with complex business issues.
5. The incumbent must be able to effectively manage his/her time since the job requirements encompass interaction in a large number of inside and outside customers.
6. Good presentation skills.

Preferred Skills in Priority:

1. Experience in a customer facing position is an asset.
2. Good negotiation skills
3. Networking computer skills.
4. Depending on the territory covered, French may be a requirement. Otherwise, it would be an asset.

Supervisor DM Fulfillment – (Toronto)

Agency is a multinational in uptown Toronto. Ultimately they’re looking for someone that has experience in DM print production and some experience in inventory management. Here are the details of what the person will be responsible for.

• Supervise Fulfillment Project delivery to appropriate standards
• Supervise the quality control of fulfillment projects through quality monitoring of kits through the fulfillment process including the approval of “live”, “lettershop” and “kit samples” prior to distribution
• Determine fulfillment specifications for new program set up
• Gather and document project specifications as related to kit fulfillment
• Create and manage fulfillment project timelines
• Supervise the fulfillment inventory by managing the fulfillment report to ensure an adequate supply of collateral is available as agreed to by key project stakeholders
• Supervise the fulfillment of kits by ensuring the deliverables and project-specific tasks are completed as required by the Fulfillment House
• Initiate kit instructions for new and existing fulfillment kits and ensure their accuracy and completion
• Liaise with the Fulfillment House as needed to ensure their complete understanding of kitting instructions
• Responsible for the status of current and potential new kits by monitoring and ensuring communication among key project stakeholders through the Fulfillment Inventory Report and the Campaign Fulfillment Matrix
• Ensure that key project stakeholders are kept apprised, in a timely manner, of any known changes to kit status that is caused by or impacted at fulfillment
• Advise and document the implementation of new fulfillment kits and changes to existing collateral
• Assign and distribute kit numbers for new and revised kits upon written request from team members; and manage the related kit matrix
• Manage the Campaign Fulfillment and Master Matrices by ensuring kits are assigned to the correct Source ID and communicated to key project stakeholders
