Overall Accountability & Job Summary
The Associate Director of Technology’s (ADT) role is to continuously research and implement new technologies. They serve as an internal and external technical expert and advises technical leads on technical approaches and architectures, or performs the role of the technical and development lead of assigned web projects. S/he is also capable of serving as a Sales Engineer.

- Provide both informal on-going performance feedback and conducts formal reviews for all staff managed
- Ensure consistent application of Isobar people practices and tools (reviews, training, career planning, recognition etc.) for all direct- and indirect-reports
- Takes a lead role in compensation decision-making
- Ability to identify and match mentoring opportunities at agency, in addition, to serve as a mentor to staff

- Bachelors Degree required

Technical Skills
- 5+ years experience with two or more of the following core technologies: Java/Spring, .NET, PHP, Python
- 4+ Experience with rapid application development frameworks such as Grails, Rails, Django, .NET MVC, CakePHP
- Experience working with medium to large web application servers (eg. Tomcat, Websphere, IIS, etc.)
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server and Structured Query Language/Procedures/Triggers, etc.
- Experience with Unit Testing and Test Driven Development
- Experience working with version control systems (eg. CVS, SVN, GIT, VSS, TFVC)
- Experience integrating with front-end technologies (eg. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, JQuery)
- Experience working with build technologies (ANT, Maven, MS Team Build, Cruise Control, Hudson, Jenkins, Webistrano, etc.)
- Experience working with Scrum or other Agile methodologies
